Cast alloys

Quality Tested by Experts

When forming alloys (from Latin alligare, "to bind one thing to another"), the aim is to achieve better characteristics than those of the base metal. At every stage of production, experienced experts make sure all work steps remain clear and organized and perform constant quality controls.

Use of latest technologies in combination with extensive experience guarantees that our alloys satisfy all requirements for strength, load capacity, plasticity and processability.

Our production range for cast alloys:

– Production capacity 50,000 TPA

– Primary-equivalent cast alloys in accordance with EN, DIN and customer specification

– Secondary cast alloys in accordance with EN, DIN 1725 Tl.2 and customer specification

– Primary alloys

– Master alloys in accordance with EN, DIN and customer specification
AlSi, AlMn, AlCu, AlFe

– All alloys are producible for die, sand and gravity casting

Available as:

8 kg ingots, bundle weights of 500–1400 kg on foot ingots of same alloy and batch,
steel strip or aluminium strip, liquid metal also available on request.

Near-eutectic and eutectic Al-Si alloys can be delivered in "semi-permanently modified" (Na) or "permanently modified" (Sr) form.

Liquid Aluminium

All alloys in our production range can also be supplied as liquid aluminium.

Aluminium-Oxide

Recycling to Perfection

The salt slag produced during melting and refining of aluminium scrap is fully recycled in our slag and water treatment plant.

From this, we obtain four products:

Salt for reuse as slag former in the melting process
Al granules for feeding back into the aluminium resource cycle
Aluminium oxide regenerated as raw material substitute for bauxite
Clean water for cooling purposes

Our production range for aluminium oxide:

Use in the cement, refractory, steel,
mineral fibre and
ceramics industries
Delivery forms agglomerated or pourable,
both at original water content

Do not hesitate to contact us if you have other specific requirements.
